The decanter starts as raw porcelain fired at 1400°C into a two-layer shell — the same principle that lets a thermos hold its temperature for hours, except here it's protecting the tequila inside from light and heat for decades, not hours. Molding a 750 ml football shape out of a material that shrinks 15% in the kiln is brutally unforgiving work; every dimension has to be calculated ahead of the shrinkage. Each glazed, pressure-tested decanter is rated to over 3 atmospheres before it ships. The gold artwork is fired into the surface, not painted on — it won't chip, fade, or wear off in ten years, or fifty.

Hand-finishing means every bottle carries small variations — not flaws, but proof it passed through a real kiln and real hands, not a production line.

What's Inside

The tequila comes from a single distillery in the Highlands of Jalisco, founded in 1908 and still run by the same family's 4th generation of distillers. 7-year blue Weber agave, double-distilled in copper pot stills, aged in a mix of French and American oak. Gravity-fed production, no additives, naturally gluten-free.
