Crafted to Last Generations

Every Score Tequila bottle begins as a piece of premium porcelain, fired at an ultra-high temperature of 1400°C. This isn't a single-layer ceramic shell — it's a two-layer porcelain structure, engineered the same way a thermos retains temperature, keeping the spirit inside stable and protected from light and heat fluctuations for decades.

Achieving this in a precise 750 ml football-shaped vessel was, by every conventional standard, an almost impossible engineering task. Like any porcelain, our material shrinks by roughly 15% during firing — a factor that has to be calculated with extreme precision at every stage to preserve both the bottle's exact silhouette and its structural integrity.

The inner vessel is shaped as a flask — a form that is inherently structurally strong on its own, well-suited to withstand internal pressure. To prevent porosity, every surface is treated and fired with a glaze, sealing the porcelain completely. Each finished decanter is individually pressure-tested to withstand over 3 atmospheres of excess internal pressure before it ever leaves the workshop, ensuring it can be shipped, handled, and enjoyed safely for years to come.

Because so much of this process is done by hand — from shaping the porcelain to applying and firing the decal — no two bottles are ever perfectly identical. Small variations are not defects; they're proof that each bottle passed through real hands and a real kiln, not a mass-production line.

The gold and colored detailing on each bottle is applied as a decal and then fired again in the kiln, fusing the design permanently into the porcelain surface — not painted on top. This means the artwork won't fade, peel, or wear away — it's built to last for decades, the same way the porcelain and glaze underneath it do.

Single Distillery, Four Generations

The tequila itself comes from a single distillery established in 1908, now run by its 4th generation of master distillers in the Highlands of Jalisco. The 7-year blue Weber agave is double-distilled in copper pot stills, then finished in a combination of French and American oak barrels — a process that relies on gravity-fed production to reduce the distillery's carbon footprint, with no additives and naturally gluten-free spirit.
